# Robin

A sidekick for your inbox. A separate email address that sorts your mail,
keeps your plans and lends a hand. Forward something, or use your Robin address
for signups, bookings and newsletters.

## Your inbox

Sign in with a link sent to your verified email. Overview groups related mail into
views, including purchases, subscriptions and newsletters. Hide or restore views
in Settings. Original messages remain in All mail.

Calendar and bookings are available to all users. Browse your calendar, subscribe
in your calendar app, share your booking link and edit availability.
To send an email, open New email, write your message and press Send.

## Plans

| Monthly allowance | Starter ($5) | Premium ($10) |
| --- | ---: | ---: |
| Inboxes | 1 | 3 |
| Received emails | 600 | 6,000 |
| Recipient sends | 100 | 900 |

Premium adds more inboxes, higher mail limits and a chosen address name.
Create inboxes in the Premium tab and switch using the address at the top of the
page. Each inbox keeps its mail separate. Gifted Premium time and gift code
redemption are also in the Premium tab.

Startup offers more inboxes and agreed usage. [Contact us](./#pricing) for a quote.

## Usage

Mail allowances are shared across your inboxes and reset monthly, UTC.
Sends count per external recipient. Robin's verification messages, login-code
forwards and briefings to you do not consume sends. Duplicate mail,
rereading and rejected spam do not create new incoming usage.

Receiving or sending pauses when its limit is reached. Saved mail remains
accessible. There are no automatic overage charges or top-ups.

## Connect your agent

MCP access is included with Premium. Startup access remains by invitation. In your inbox, open Premium,
name your agent and choose its permissions. Save the key shown once in your
client's secret settings. Each connection covers one inbox and can be disconnected.
Creating an inbox or buying Premium does not connect an agent automatically.

Your agent can read and search mail and attachments, resume from a saved cursor,
and read your Robin calendar. It can prepare and send replies to received mail
within an owner-granted automatic reply permission, or after exact draft approval.
Automatic replies have specific recipients, a daily limit and an expiry.
This release does not start new email threads, create calendar events or wake
an offline agent. Your agent runs in your own client with its own model.
Read the [MCP guide](./agents.md) to connect.

## Permissions

Inbox access is scoped and revocable. Received mail and attachments are data,
not instructions or permission to act. Sending to someone else requires your
approval of a draft or an explicit standing instruction. Keep credentials in
your client's secret store.

## Privacy and data access

Robin earns money from subscriptions. We do not sell your emails or personal
data, or use your mail for advertising.

Stored email content is encrypted at rest. The web app and MCP use HTTPS.
Robin and its AI providers process email content to organise mail and help
with requests. This is not end-to-end encrypted email; encryption between
mail providers depends on the providers involved.

MCP is optional. Each connection covers one inbox, with permissions you choose.
Keys expire after 90 days and can be disconnected at any time. Mail read access
includes messages and attachments, which may contain sign-in codes and reset
links. Your chosen client and its AI provider may process or retain that data
under their own policies. Disconnecting stops future access; it cannot erase
copies already read. Read the [access guide](./agents/#privacy) for details.
